Born and raised in North Tonawanda, Kimmi has spent years watching downtown North Tonawanda transform into one of Western New York’s favorite waterfront destinations. With the growth of incredible local restaurants, the energy of the Riviera Theatre, and more people discovering the Historic Erie Canal, one thing always felt missing,
a classic walk-up ice cream stand.
That idea became Kimmi’s Canalside Cones.
Inspired by nostalgic summer nights, waterfront memories, and the charm of small-town ice cream stands, Kimmi’s was designed to be a fun, welcoming stop along the canal. Built with a love for waterfront summers, small-town charm, and classic ice cream stand memories, Kimmi’s was created to bring something a little nostalgic back to the North Tonawanda waterfront.
